You wanted a life tracker & dice? Here we go

Results from the subscriber survey are in, and I was surprised to see that the most requested feature was “Simple dice and life counters” – aka, a life tracker app.

This is something I’d hesitated from building before, since it was a fairly graphics intensive feature that has been built by a number of app developers already (some are better than others). I’ve focused mostly on features that make TopDecked unique, but… I think it’s time.

Next major release of TopDecked will include a life tracker for up to six people, and there will be some awesome features for tracking your game history, not just your in-game life-totals.

Here’s a sneak peak of the general design. Keep in mind these are just drafts – the finished product will look far more polished, in true TopDecked style!

Once it’s done, this will be one of the first features designed for a truly social experience. You’ll be able to link games with your friends and track your performance vs. theirs. Who wins more often? With which decks? But… first things first, version one will be a tracker, and the social features will come next.

Comments welcome! What do you want to see in a life-tracker app? What do you NOT want to see?
